' Sagrada Familia' Gaudi's most famous landmark! It is absolutely amazing - so much detail in every square inch. Every wall is a different style. It's completely crazy, especially the bunches of fruit on the roof-tops!





I fled Barcelona today on the back of my shocking salsa performance last night. Every one of my dance partners dumped me as soon as the song ended.

This morning I was woken to the soothing sounds of a whistle. The Spanish think it's great to take a whistle out on a saturday night because it's very musical. But not at 7am in the morning.

I'm in Rome now & I finally got to see the Raphael exhibition on display at Galleria Borghese. I made the booking when I was here 1 month ago..... I was so cross when I went the first time. I planned my whole day around this gallery, arrived well before it opened, lined up in the queue for ages, got to the desk & was told no ticket if I didn't have a booking. Nowhere in any of the brochures did it say you have to book. So today I felt so sorry for this old man who was lugging his suitcase all the way to the gallery (and we waited 1hr for the bus) only to be turned away at the door.
